The Brief - A Bespoke Ensuite Built for Everyday Luxury

This ensuite required meticulous planning from start to finish. Our clients wanted something genuinely bespoke — not an off-the-shelf ensuite with a feature tile, but a room where every major element had been considered and built for them specifically. We worked closely with them throughout, and the attention to detail paid off.

The Centrepiece - A Custom 1200mm Wall-Hung Vanity

The standout piece in this West Derby ensuite is the 1200mm wall-hung custom vanity. It’s built from two individual 600mm LED wall-hung vanities from Scudo in a matt grey finish, joined by a countertop we designed in-house and had commissioned by Stone Design.

The result is a genuinely one-of-one piece. It gives the client all the countertop space they need while providing a large wash basin that’s more than enough for an ensuite.

Practicality sits alongside the aesthetics. The countertop is joined to the wall using three separate brackets, each rated for 250kg. When little ones are around and there’s something to grab hold of, you never know what could happen — so we build for it.

The 3D LED Feature Wall

3D feature walls are becoming increasingly popular — and with good reason. The ambient lighting adds real character to a room, and when designed properly, the feature tiles flow seamlessly into the wall tiles rather than sitting as a jarring insert.

The lighting throughout is ambient rather than bright — warm, atmospheric, and designed for the kind of evening routine where you actually want to linger in the bathroom.

Shower Detail - Concealed Valves and an LED Niche

We used a closed-to-wall pan in this project, keeping all the pipework hidden and making cleaning straightforward. The minimalist look carries into the shower, where a concealed shower valve does the same job.

A recess was added for storage, with another LED light to match the character of the 3D wall. Picture a late-night shower with the ceiling lights dimmed to their lowest setting and the ambient glow of the 3D wall and shower recess on — that’s the kind of ensuite we set out to build here.

The Finished Ensuite

This is a small room that punches well above its weight. Every surface earns its place, the lighting transforms the feel of the space depending on the time of day, and the custom vanity is the kind of piece that defines the whole room.
